Prologue

In the absence of Bishop Short, Chairman of the Task Force on Licensing, Bishop Maguire presented the Report.

Seconded by: Bishop Somerville

"That this Report be received." CARRIED

It was noted that this report was prepared in consultation with the Pensions Division, the Committee on Ministry and the Division of Personnel Resources.

Seconded by: Bishop Watton

"That we defer voting on recommendations (a), (b), & (c), until we have the necessary documentation before us." CARRIED

Following a lengthy discussion of the Report, Bishops Bothwell and Stiff volunteered to work further on it, and to bring it before the House at the December meeting.

Text of motion

"That this Report be referred to a Committee of Bishop Stiff and Bishop Bothwell to do further work." CARRIED
