23. Licensing

Prologue: In the absence of Bishop Short, Chairman of the Task Force on Licensing, Bishop Maguire presented the Report.; Moved by: Bishop Maguire; Seconded by: Bishop Somerville; "That this Report be received." CARRIED; It was noted that this report was prepared in consultation with the Pensions Division, the Committee on Ministry and the Division of Personnel Resources.; Seconded by: Bishop Watton; "That we defer voting on recommendations (a), (b), & (c), until we have the necessary documentation before us." CARRIED; Following a lengthy discussion of the Report, Bishops Bothwell and Stiff volunteered to work further on it, and to bring it before the House at the December meeting.

Text of motion: "That this Report be referred to a Committee of Bishop Stiff and Bishop Bothwell to do further work." CARRIED
