- A tentative timetable for General Synod 1975 was presented.
- Moved by Nock, seconded by Davis,
- That the National Executive Council concur that General Synod meet from Tuesday evening, June 10 to noon Thursday, June 19, 1975 with 18 sessions being scheduled.
- Concern was expressed about the proposed length of General Synod. It was pointed out that as this proposed agenda includes a cultural exchange this may qualify us for financial assistance from the Government.

- Moved by Smith, seconded by Graham,
- That the National Executive Council concur that General Synod meet from Thursday evening, June 12 to Thursday evening, June 19.
- Following further discussion the Mover and Seconder of the Amendment proposed:
- That the National Executive Council request the Organization Committee to schedule General Synod to take up no more than five business days.
- Prior to any further action it was agreed that the members of the Organization Committee present at NEC will work on this and bring in a resolution later in the meeting.
- Later the following motion was presented.
- Text of motion
- That General Synod convene on Thursday, June 12, 1975 and conclude on Thursday, June 19, 1975 in order to provide five working days and include a cultural exchange on the weekend. CARRIED
