Prologue

Canon Genge, as a member of ACNAC [Anglican Council of North America and the Caribbean], reminded the National Executive Council that an evaluation of ACNAC was begun in 1981. The conclusion was that ACNAC should remain together for a longer period of time.

Text of motion

That this National Executive Council of the Anglican Church of Canada approve the recommendation of the Executive Committee of the Anglican Council of North America and the Caribbean that Section (a) of Article 2 of the Constitution of ACNAC be amended to read:

`To facilitate the Church's response to Mission by assessing the needs and resources of the Churches and Provinces in the Americas and by making recommendations to member Churches.' CARRIED
