- That the Primate be requested to appoint a Commission on Women's Work in the Church with membership to include representatives of the various women's groups which exist within our Church and of the women of the Church generally, together with representatives of General Synod;
- And that this Commission be charged with the responsibility of:
- 1. Considering and reporting on matters within the terms of reference of the Committee on Women's Work in the Church;
- 2. Promoting and encouraging Joint Action for Mission on the part of Women's groups at all levels of Church life. CARRIED in both Houses.
