- Text of motion
- That this House of Bishops requests the Executive Director of Program to ask the Social Action Ministries staff to gather and share with us research and analysis regarding Labour/Management relations in Canada. This research would include an examination of Federal, Provincial and Territorial laws of Canada affecting this subject, and the use of force and back to work legislation. We ask that, if possible, we be advised of perceivable trends in Labour/Management relations in Canada. We also seek advice on what the staff perceive the role of the leadership of the Church might assume in this area.
