Prologue

Bishop Mitchell presented a short report of the revisions to the Canon suggested by the Organization Committee. These suggestions dealt chiefly with matters of form.

Section III of the present Canon is to become Section 6 in the revision.

Other suggestions are minor.

In stating that this was the last time that the Task Force on revising Canon XXI would be able to report to the House before General Synod, Bishop Mitchell asked the House to be sure that all matters of concern to the House be raised now.

Members felt that Section iv., sub-section #2b, should be left in its present form rather than in the suggested revision.

That the present wording of Section iv., sub-section #2b, remain in its present wording. CARRIED #12-9-85
