- Canon Arthur Jarvis (1848-1936) is the link that brought together the records of the Mountain, Roe, and Jarvis families. Arthur's mother, Mary-Ann was a descendent of the Mountain family through Jacob Jehoshaphat Salter Mountain and Jehoshaphat Mountain. The same Mountain family that produced two bishops of Quebec. Arthur Jarvis married Fanny Roe, the daughter of Archdeacon Henry Roe a clergyman in Lennoxville.
