- Professor Edwin B.G. Heaven (1933-) received a B.A. in 1954 and M.A. in 1966 from McMaster University, Hamilton, an L.Th. and S.T.B. from Trinity College, Toronto in 1957, and a diploma from Universite de Geneve in 1962. He served as rector of St. Philip's, Grimsby, Ont. (1957-1958), rector of the Church of the Transfiguration in St. Catharines (1958-1961), and was appointed Provost and Vice-Chancellor of Thorneloe College, Sudbury, Ont. in 1976.
