Wigan's 'The Liturgy in English' by the Oxford University Press in 1962, the process which was started by Hamon L'Estrange in 1659 reached its logical conclusion, at least so far as the eucharist is concerned. .... This volume, however is offered as a supplement to LiE, a more modest undertaking, yet one which does seem to be needed. It can either be used alongside LiE, or, standing on its own, will fill the role of a survey of Anglican eucharistic revision in the decade from Lambeth 1958 to Lambeth 1968. .... a collection of eucharistic texts. That is the purpose of this book, and all materials other than texts are included only in order to illustrate and exhibit the texts as clearly as possible". -- Preface.
