Retired archbishops within the Ecclesiastical Province of Ontario do NOT retain the title of Archbishop at the end of their 6-year term as metropolitan. Also mentions that Robert Runcie, in a letter upon his retirement, asked to be addressed as "Right Reverend" and not "Most".
[N.B. Since this date the Ecclesiastical Province of Ontario has REVERSED this decision with the result that former Metropolitans RETAIN the title of "Archbishop" and form of address "Most Reverend". -- Information from Archdeacon Paul Feheley, June 2005.]
