- Stephen McPhee, is the adopted son of Nancy and James McPhee. He has autism and is now eight years old. "Now, the intense concentration associated with autism propels Stephen's compassion for helping others. Stephen learned about Jesus at St. Francis of Assisi in Airdrie, Alberta. At Stephen's instigation, his parents, assisted by a hundreds of volunteers have prepared backpacks for over a thousand homeless and needy individuals. Nancy McPhee has written a booki about her son entitled "Dream Outloud" and proceeds from its sale also go to help the homeless.
