- Notes
- The Diocese of Montreal has become the second since General Synod 2007 to urge its bishop to allow clergy to bless previously solemnized civil marriages between same-sex couples.
- The Diocese is facing a deficit of over $1 million and will meet again in January 2008 to adopt a budget. They have decided to use the $300,000 a year that they receive as rent from Cathedral Place as part of its general revenue. In the past this money was used to give grants to the community.
