The Last Word

Notes: The author recounts the disappointing experience of having gone to visit a church (having checked for service times on the web) only to arrive and find that there was no service at the church at that time and only one sign on one of the church doors saying that there was a 10:30 service at another church but giving no directions. "When we treat our incredibly beautiful churches as private clubs where things like directions and noticeboards are of no consequence, believe me are in a slump. These matters are important."
