- Notes
- The author, an Anglican priest from the Diocese of New Westminster, is a Volunteer in Mission in Honiara, in the Solomon Islands. He describes the physical, emotional and spiritual transition from his life in Vancouver to his new home in the Solomons. He made a "Transition Retreat" just before he left Vancouver. "By the time I got here I was pretty well drained so the week after the Jubilee event was a personal retreat with the Lord. I had extended periods for meditation, sleep and writing so that by the end of the week my focus had shifted from all I had left to what lay before me".
