Notes: The author looks back on Christmas just past and comments on the great increase in numbers of people attending Christmas worship services in 2005. 2005 was not a good year "Is it hard to believe that the miracle and wonder of the Holy Night and its child cannot but permeate our year ahead and the `life of the world to come'." "We look back at Christmas in this issue to provide ideas and hopes for all our readers and congregations as we move to Christmas 2006. Maybe one might start be keeping a Christmas memento, ornament, image, our all year. Never let that wonder escape. Never let the desire to share the message of Christmas escape our programmes and pronouncements"
