- Notes
- The author argues for the value and importance of Lent, even though it is often considered "Give-Up-The-Fun, the Liturgical Season voted least likely to succeed, the church festival with the really bad press". "Oh we need Lent's dealing for these bloody injuries and Christ as model, to examine, to pray and to emerge as he did, with renewed vision to walk the path of God".
