- Notes
- In this centenary year of the birth of Michael Ramsey, one hundredth Archbishop of Canterbury, the author describes the role played by the Anglo-Catholic parish of the Transfiguration, in Manhattan New York (also known as the "Little Church Around the Corner"), in Ramsey's vocation as priest and archbishop. Ramsey visited the church in November 1925 when he was touring the United States as part of a debating team from Camridge University. After his return and his experience in the church Ramsey decided to study theology and enter the church rather than politics.
