Letters from overseas : Fellowship and warmth in the Solomon Islands

Notes: The author, from the diocese of Toronto, is a librarian "serving at Bishop Patteson Theological College, Kohimarama, on the island of Guadalcanal in the Solomon Islands. Following a coup in the Solomon Islands early this summer [2000], Ms. Reevely left BPTC. She is now at the Airahu Rural Training Centre, on the neighbouring island of Malaita. The author describes her days attending a Mothers' Union event, gardening, preaching, etc.; This letter was reprinted with the title "A Melanesian outing" in the Winter 2004 (Vol. 11, No. 1) issue of Ministry Matters, pp. 18-19.
