- Notes
- The author is a Volunteer in Mission from the diocese of Ontario, serving in Porto Alegre, Brazil. "My role at the national offices of the Episcopal Anglican Church of Brazil will be flexible and depends on my Portuguese language and the needs in the office structure and the Christian education department. I do help with correspondence being written to Great Britain, the United States and Canada and also telephone, fax and email messages for various departments. I expect to continue language study for a year and be as involved as I can in the life of the local parish church here."
- This letter was reprinted with the title "First the language" in the Winter 2004 (Vol. 11, No. 1) issue of Ministry Matters, p. 18.
