- Notes
- "The question of what is the appropriate approach to people of other faiths is even more urgent in India than in many other countries. When Christian write on walls `Jesus is the answer', it is Hindus who write below, `What is the question ?' WhenChristian boast that Jesus is the crown and fulfilment of earlier promises, the Muslims waste no time in making counter assertions that the prophet Mohammed is the seal of all the earlier prophets, including Jesus, and he is the fulfilment of the latter's promise". Mentions some of the notable Church of South India cleric "who were renowned scholars of Hinduism and creative expounders of the Christian faith in the light of their study".
