- Notes
- "There is a lot of talk about 'Planned Giving' these days as charitable and non-profit organizations concentrate on education programs to inform people about how they can support their chosen charities beyond their lieftimes. There are many vehicles (Gift Annuities, Life Insurance, Remainder Trusts etc.) but perhaps the easiest and most common way of making a Planned Gift is through a Will. A donor may leave a bequest for an organization's general purposes or may designate the funds for a special use by the organization. It is through bequests that the Anglican Foundation of Canada carries out its program of grants and low-interest loans to support parishes in need across Canada. It is also through bequest which designate the donor's wishes that special ministries (education, Missions to Seamen, music, etc.) can be supported".
