Message to Governors General [Georges Vanier]

Text of motion: RESOLVED; That this General Synod of The Anglican Church of Canada extend a warm welcome and respectful felicitations to Major General Georges P. Vanier as he assumes office as the personal representative of Her Majesty the Queen. The Synod assures General Vanier of the earnest prayers of his Anglican fellow citizens that God may bless him with health and happiness and guide him in the discharge of the duties of his high office.
