- That the Government of Canada be called upon to entrench in the Constitution the right of Aboriginal peoples to self-government which will:
- 1) recognize aboriginal authority in defined areas of jurisdiction;
- 2) develop structures for exercising that authority;
- 3) provide economic resources needed to make the structures work; and
- 4) require consent from aboriginal peoples regarding such constitutional amendments. CARRIED WITHOUT DEBATE Act 107
