Aboriginal Self-Government

Text of motion: That the Government of Canada be called upon to entrench in the Constitution the right of Aboriginal peoples to self-government which will:; 1) recognize aboriginal authority in defined areas of jurisdiction;; 2) develop structures for exercising that authority;; 3) provide economic resources needed to make the structures work; and; 4) require consent from aboriginal peoples regarding such constitutional amendments.
