- That this General Synod, in light of the Hendry Report, hears, appreciates, and is resolved to respond to "the desire on the part of Christians of the Native Peoples of the Anglican Church of Canada for a greater degree of self-expression both in the services of the church, and control and government of the work of the church among the Native Peoples of Canada, and more particularly, how to incorporate into the work of the church the ideals, hopes and aspirations of the Native Peoples of Canada for their future."
- That accordingly, this General Synod calls on all dioceses and parishes to review the forms of participation of Native Peoples in the life of their diocese with a view to improving their participation.

- That this General Synod recommend to the Nominating Committee of the General Synod that a Native on each Standing Committee be appointed to incorporate the desire to do this in light of the Hendry Report on "The Work of the Church among the Native Peoples of Canada".

- That the word "native" be changed to "Indian" in the second paragraph of the motion. CARRIED Act 101
- The motion as amended now reads:
