(liv) Vote of Thanks

Text of motion: That the thanks of the House be extended to the many persons who contributed to the accomplishments of these meetings, and to our comfort and the enjoyment of these days together.; To Fr. Smith, Fr. Larry and the staff of the Queen of the Apostles Renewal Centre, not only for the use of their excellent facilities, but also for their gracious concern for our personal comfort and for the purposes for which we met.; To the Primate for the thoroughness with which he planned and made preparation for these meetings, and for the geniality of chairmanship by which be brought us so happily through a long agenda.; To those who served on numerous committees, and particularly to those who prepared and presented reports, many of which were the result of an exceptionally large amount of careful work.; To the many members of Church House staff who contributed greatly in the preparation of material and the presentation of subjects on the Agenda.; To Dr. J.E. Merriman for his concern for the health of the clergy and for his address to the House.; To the secretaries for their unfailing attention to duties which lack both romance and the prospect of financial reward, and for doing the work they still have to do.; [CARRIED]
