- Bishop Langstone, as Secretary of the Alberta Bishops, introduced a letter which had been previously circulated to the members of the House. He commented particularly upon the seeming conflict between the educational purpose evident in the several major addresses delivered to the recent General Synod and the business and legislative agenda.
- Other concerns contained in the letter are as follows:
- 1. That the announced closing time of Synod be adhered to;
- 2. The make up of the commettees and the method of constituting membership.
- Included also was a concern for a better method of nominating to the National Executive Council.
- Text of motion
- "That the concerns of the Alberta Bishops be listed and forwarded to the Committee on Organization." CARRIED

- Moved by: Bishop Hollis
- Seconded by: Bishop Nock
- "That the reference to closing time of General Synod be deleted from the list to be forwarded to the Committee on Organization." CARRIED.
- Concern was expressed about the House of Bishops Agenda at the meeting immediately prior to General Synod.
- It was agreed that further consideration should be given to the seating arrangements for Bishops at General Synod.
