- That the proposed amendment to Canon XXVII be referred to the Committee on Marriage, &c.
- (1) That Section 1 be amended by adding at the end thereof the words - "Excepting thereout the prohibition of marriage between a man and his deceased wife's sister or between a woman and her deceased husband's brother."
- (2) That Section 2 be amended by adding at the end thereof the words, "as amended." CARRIED in both Houses.
