- The following resolutions were received from the November 10th meeting of the National Anglican World Mission Committee:
- - i. "After giving full consideration to the request for funds for a representative of the Department of Information and Stewardship to accompany Bishop Dean to Japan and having considered all the factors involved, the Committee believes that it is both unwise and not within its present terms of reference to release money for this purpose."
- Canon Hobbs stated that the Department of Information and Stewardship does not have money available for this purpose, and also has serious questions regarding the policy involved.
- Following a discussion of the financial support of the office of the Executive Officer, it was moved [and seconded],

- That we accept and adopt the resolution of the A.W.M. [Anglican World Mission] National Committee in reference to a person to accompany Bishop Dean to Japan. CARRIED
