The Archbishop of Fredericton spoke in reference to the possibility of meetings being held in Fredericton in 1966 at the time when Executive Council was to meet there. The Archbishop of Canterbury is expected to visit Fredericton at this same time.

Following consideration of various alternatives, it was moved [and seconded]

Text of motion

That the National Executive Council meet in Fredericton on Tuesday and Wednesday, August 30 and 31, and Thursday, September 1 [1966]. CARRIED

Notes

It is expected that the House of Bishops will also meet in Fredericton, but this is a decision of the Bishops.
