Management Consultants' Survey - Report of the Committee on Program, Planning and Research - General Synod Archives

Prologue: It is anticipated that if General Synod approves the recommendations contained in the Price Waterhouse report, the proposed Lond Range Planning Committee and the Program Committee would implement them, with Program, Planning and Research ceasing to exist.; Moved by the Ven. T.P. Crosthwait, seconded by the Dr. E.W. Balcom,; That the National Executive Council recommends to General Synod that General Synod be asked to instruct the National Executive Council to implement the Proposed Plan of Organization (Section III).

Text of motion: That the words "subject to modification by the National Executive Council if this seems desirable in the light of experience and further studies." be added. CARRIED

Notes: The motion, as amended and which reads as follows was then CARRIED.; "That the National Executive Council recommends to General Synod that General Synod be asked to instruct the National Executive Council to implement the Proposed Plan of Organization (Section III), subject to modification by the National Executive Council if this seems desirable in the light of experience and further studies."
