Prologue

An undertaking was given collectively to Heads of Departments last fall that at the beginning of the year their salaries would be investigated and action, where appropriate, would be taken retroactive to January 1, 1967, if no other action had been taken by the end of June. Adjustments were made at that time, where appropriate, to all persons other than Heads of Departments.

Text of motion

That a special sub-committee of five members of this National Executive Council be established and charged with the responsibilities of reviewing the salaries of the Heads of Departments, and that that special sub-committee be given power to act up to a maximum of $10,000 with respect to the period from January 1, 1967, to December 31, 1967. CARRIED

Moved by Dr. E.W. Balcom, seconded by the Bishop of Huron,

That the membership be as follows: The Rt. Rev. H.R. Hunt, the Prolocutor, the Deputy Prolocutor, the Honorary Treasurer and the Chairman of the Board of Finance. CARRIED
