[New Executive Director of Anglican Foundation of Canada]

Text of motion: Toronto chartered accountant William R. Kay has been appointed Executive Director of the Anglican Foundation of Canada. Mr. Kay, 66, is a former senior partner at Winspear, Higgins, Stevenson and Doane.; As the foundation's director, Mr. Kay will be responsible for the building up and administration of funds. Founded in 1957, the foundation has made available more than $300,000 in grants and $1.25 million in low interest loans to parishes, missions and church institutions, as well as a number of bursaries for men and women studying for the Anglican ministry.; A fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario and a member of the Law Society of Ontario, Mr. Kay has been very active in civic and church affairs.
