Long Range Planning - Evaluation - General Synod Archives

Text of motion: That this NEC ask the Long Range Planning Committee to evaluate its work in terms of the following functions -; (1) Planning and priority setting for the Church;; (2) Helping the Church to undertake a disciplined planning process;; (3) Maintaining an overview of the General Synod Committee structure.; And we request the Long Range Planning Committee to determine whether their function could be better and more economically carried out by other General Synod committees or by Church House staff or by a much smaller planning group established by General Synod; and to report to the November meeting of NEC. CARRIED
