- That General Synod request the National Executive Council to consider the best way of securing the membership of the Metropolitans on the National Executive Council when desired without depriving the Metropolitical dioceses of the chance for lay or clerical representation, and if necessary to prepare a change of Constitution for submission to General Synod.

- That the Metropolitans be added to Section 35(2) of the Constitution (Handbook, p.30) giving them the right to attend with voice but not vote. CARRIED

- It is suggested that in connection with p.3, item 4(c) of the Committee's Report, the Provincial Canons be reviewed:
- 4c) to clarify the inter-relatedness of Sections 6, 7 and 8 of the Declaration of Principles by producing a working paper on the authority of General Synod in relation to Provincial and Diocesan Synods and the House of Bishops.
