- That the NEC ratify the following principles contained in the report of the Committee on Ministry Subcommittee studying Recommendation 3.1 of the National Compensation Study (April 26. 1991):
- a) the level of remuneration is based on an objective measurement of the scope, complexity and specific demands of the position;
- b) the proposal refers to stipends: travel, housing and benefits remain under diocesan management; and
- c) implementation of these criteria are the responsibility of all parts of the Church;
- in order that the subcommittee may proceed with the actual development of the system contained in Appendix A.
