Message U3 [Study of the Ministry of the Laity]

Text of motion: That a Commission be appointed by the Primate for the study of the Ministry of the Laity with special reference to the Church Services of Worship, including the Eucharist, and that the Memorial from the Diocese of Brandon, viz.: "That this Synod of Brandon requests the General Synod to give consideration to the place of laymen in assisting at the celebration of the Holy Communion and particularly in respect to administering the Chalice," and other Memorials of a similar nature be referred to this Commission.; That the Lower House concurs.
