Message U16 [Memorial from the Diocese of Saskatoon]

Text of motion: Announced the decision that the following Memorial from the Diocese of Saskatoon be tabled:; Re Prayer Book:; Be It Resolved that this Synod of the Diocese of Saskatoon requests General Synod to direct that in the next revision of the Canadian Book of Common Prayer the final rubric on page 561 of the present Book be deleted and the following rubric added so as clearly to associate it with the order for Holy Communion:; "And there shall be admitted to Holy Communion communicant members of all Christian denominations."; and that General Synod be requested to take the necessary action as soon as possible to implement this change in discipline, without waiting for a revision of the Book of Common Prayer.; That the Lower House concurs.
