- The Primate invited Archbishop Hambidge to take the chair and left the room.
- Bishop Brown spoke about the Primate's Discretionary Fund. He said that $9,000 is budgeted annually at the present time, but a substantial portion of that amount is committed for other purposes. Bishop Brown said that he has spoken to a small group of people who have indicated a keen desire to contribute to a fund for the Primate's discretionary use.

- That this House of Bishops approve the concept of the support fund for the Primate as outlined at this meeting;
- and that its purpose and constituent support be reviewed on an annual basis. CARRIED
