- Notes
- "As a priest of the church, I was disturbed by the tenor of the article regarding Canon David Harrison. I strongly feel the approach taken is lacking in sensitivity and compassion for a priest who has acknowledged his struggles and the mistake that led to the legal judgement. I wish that the article, whilst acknowledging the offence, could have focused on the humanity of this priest openly acknowledging his struggle and seeking therapy. Part of the healing journey and dealing with mental illness is facing up to the darkness and helplessness one confronts, and he has done just that". [Text of entire article.]
