- Notes
- "I have just finished reading my copies of the 'Anglican Journal' and the 'Niagara Anglican' ..". "When I sat back and reviewed all I had read, as impressive as it was, I was struck by one thing. We are talking to ourselves !!! We are operating in a closed environment !! The big issue -- that the Anglican church is slowly dying while other churches are growing, and thriving -- seems to be ignored, except for a headline in the Journal, which says it all: 'Fewer members, abundant wealth' (January, p.1). (Reminds me of the parable of the talents.) I guess you could say the Anglican church is infected with the Titanic syndrome".
