Letter to the editor: On gender blessings, and on some arguments against them

Notes: "Surely we pray for people, not for anyone's gender ('New gender blessings for trial use', p. 1, March [2022]). If someone is grateful for their particular gender, a prayer of thanksgiving is appropriate. I see no reason to create special liturgy for sex-altering operations any more than liturgy for gall bladder operations.
