- Notes
- "All Mothers and Children Count" issue.
- "All Mothers and Children Count is in year two of a four-year program funded with six-to-one match by Global Affairs Canada".
- "PIH was established in Rwanda in 2005 to help the country recover from its devastating genocide of 1994. Its goal is to bring modern medicine to impoverished populations in three districts. They do this by tapping the shoulders of the world's leading hospitals and universities, as well as listening and learning from the experiences of people who are desperately ill. The Butaro District Hospital in Burero, the north of Rwanda, functions as a hub for hospitals and health centres in smaller communities". [Text of entire article.]
