- Notes
- "Arnold Edinborough's article on Remembrance Day hymns in the November [1988] issue was much appreciated. He focused on some of the old and fondly remembered ones. I remember, as I guess many do, one which has, sadly, been deleted from the red hymn book; and that is 'O Valiant Hearts', especially to the old tune. Maybe I am an old, no-change person, but I cannot for the life of me see why the people who are in charge of compiling new books and/or writing new hymns and music, must delete or rewrite the words and music. I enjoy Mr. Edinborough's column, and always look forward to reading it". [Text of entire article.]
