Letter to the editor: Not fully representative

Notes: "Diocese of Yukon Bishop Larry Robertson and others have noted the lack of theological diversity amongst the members of the commission on the marriage canon, as none of them are opponents of same-sex marriage. I would add that the commission also lacks ethnic and geographic diversity. As far as I can tell, none of the members are aboriginal. None of them represent a visible or linguistic minority. None of them come from a Council of the North diocese. If the commission's mandate is to seek a 'broad consultation', how can its membership have such a narrow composition ?"
