- Notes
- "I have a compromise solution for the same-sex marriage dispute. There are two elements to marriage. The first is the relationship between two persons, upon which the current debate is centred. The second, upon which it was originally founded, is procreation or the creation of life. My suggestions is that the traditional form of marriage be altered to provide two forms, one specifically recognizing the creation of life, and one not. To equate heterosexual with homosexual marriage is to eliminate procreation as a factor, and by implication, of importance". [Text of entire article.]
