- Notes
- Heather and Andrew Finton are Volunteers in Mission from the Diocese of Ottawa serving in Brazil who have decided to spend another year in Brazil. "We are struck by the changes that Altacir, the new farm technician, has been able to make now that he is directing work on the agricultural side. And this realization that a trained, dedicated leader makes the difference which causes us to hope that a similar transformation can be made on the home side. We believe that the home urgently needs a qualified social worker who can work politically in the community and ensure that the boys' basic needs are met. Despite occasional fears that this may not come about, we are hopeful that we will have a role in finding and providing some orientation for a new administrator next year".
