- Notes
- "As a family therapist who has been on several national working groups, I want to recommend you on your recent article of end-of-life issues and assisted suicide [From the editor, 'A time to be born, and a time to die', Nov. 2013, p. 4]. This is an ethical issue that is particularly challenging in today's world, and I see this emerging in family therapy with family members struggling with how to help their dying members". "The struggle between personal choice and supportive community is one we do need to engage in our church, perhaps a follow-up round-table with reflection on the excellent study [Care in Dying: A Consideration of the Practices of Euthanasia and Physician Assisted Suicide] done 15 years ago ?"
