- Notes
- "National Indigenous Anglican Bishop Mark MacDonald has been appointed as the new area bishop for the Northern Manitoba region of the diocese of Keewatin. After June 4 [2014], the region will be a part of the newly created Indigenous Spiritual Ministry of Mishamikweesh, led by Bishop Lydia Mamakwa. The diocese of Keewatin will close on Dec. 31, 2014. MacDonald said his role will be transitional -- providing pastoral care and episcopal visitation until a process is set up for those congregations to select their own area bishop".
