Letter to the editor: Homelessness: root causes

Notes: "With regard to the Anglican-Lutheran Joint Assembly's declaration on the issue of homelessness ['Declaration highly supported', Summer 2013, p. 8], one has to look at the root causes of homelessness. This brings us to the issues of alcohol and gambling, which are provincially controlled. However, the provinces are very dependent on those financial resources. It is right that they should be handled by the provinces. The provinces should be curtailing their expansions. Let's have faith that the provinces will do this". [Text of entire article.]
