"The Rev. Dr. Michael John Lloyd, CA, passed away in Toronto on April 21 [2013]. Born in England in 1935, he served as director of the Anglican Book Centre (ABC) from 1968 to 1995. His business acumen transformed the ailing book emporium into both a profit centre and a mecca for book lovers and ideas. As director, Lloyd established a successful trade book publishing program for the church, producing both 'The Book of Alternative Services' 1985 and 'Common Praise' 1998". [Text of entire article.]
